| Mr. Banerjee has two decades of board level managerial experience of creating categories and companies in India, Middle East and Southern Europe. Mr. Banerjee has held positions like Chair, MD & CEO, Amway; MD & CEO in Dalmia Group; First CEO, Hutch- Essar Telecom and CEO, Kodak Near East Turkey.
Mr. Banerjee is credited for his significant contributions in building the photographic and mobile telephony categories and is called the father of India’s direct selling industry. Mr. Banerjee was the founder member of Indian Direct Selling Association and Chairman, Business Development of Cellular Operators Association of India.
Mr. Banerjee received “The Millennium Marketing Person of the Year” award for his contributions to category creation activities in India. Mr. Banerjee is the Co- Founder & MD of India Market Business Advisory, imbA, with offices in Delhi, Toronto and Silicon Valley.
