A post graduate in journalism and a graduate degree in economics Mr. Thothathri Raman is a business journalist with over 30 years of industry experience. The award winning author of management is a familiar figure among the Indian b-school & HR community for his over a decade long work on bringing up quality on the supply side of HR. He is a regular speaker at many Indian and International forums on B-Schools quality.

His pioneering Ranking of B-Schools in Business India has streamlined the processes of hundreds of business schools in the country ensuring a smooth transition to higher levels of quality. He also took the lead to bring global benchmarks of quality to Indian b-schools by inviting international accreditation agencies to India and holding series of International conferences and round table discussions on international accreditation as a founder managing trustee of Standards for Educational Advancement & Accreditation (SEAA) New Delhi www.seaastandards.org. SEAA broke new ground and set a world record by bringing all the Top Five Global accrediting agencies, AACSB International, EQUIS, AMBA, ACBSP and IACBE along with Indian regional agency SAQS in November at New Delhi when it held its annual International Accrediation Conference 2009.

Mr. Raman is the only non-HR person to be an invited member of the National Board of National HRD Network (NHRDN). His is also a member of Management Accreditation Committee of National Board of Accreditation of AICTE. He is also a co founder of the Asian School of Business Management (ASBM) Bhubaneshwar and a visiting faculty at MDI Gurgaon, IMT Ghaziabad,SIES Navi Mumbai, PSGIM, Coimbatore & SCMS Cochin, to name a few. Mr Raman, is also an award winning author, management teacher and India's first author of an e-fiction book set in 26th century "e-commerce@love". He has authored seven books on management and new economy segments.
